TAS Fireworks Review 2016

Breaking News - 9th June - Minister Brooks stands up for the people and will allow Cracker Night to continue.

Fireworks Permits outside of Cracker Night and NYE looks to be more restricted but the key purpose of saving Cracker Night appears to be achieved. This is certainly unexpected from our point of view, but it shows that you, the fireworks enthusiast, can argue the reasonableness and common sense of keeping the annual Cracker Night alive in your community. The key to the long term survive ability of Cracker Night is to provide adequate notice to your neighbors so they can protect their pets and animals for those 30 minutes.  Tasmanian's have an outstanding human and property safety record, which shows that the community can be responsible given the chance. We just need to make sure we always provide adequate protection for the animals too.
